Prior to MaxWay, Will served a one-year stint at NCAA Division I University of Maine, Orono. While working with the Black Bears, Will was charged with overseeing the women’s ice hockey, men’s and women’s cross country, and track & field teams. He also assisted with the Black Bears football team by carrying out the strength and conditioning protocols set by the Head Football Sports Performance Coach. Will created and implemented off-ice strength and conditioning and rehabilitation programs for the women’s ice hockey team in addition to tracking and analyzing athlete physical assessments throughout the season.
Coach Will played a multitude of sports growing up, throughout high school, and into college. He found strength training along the way, and it has given him a purpose to continue being around sports. Being able to help athletes reach their full potential and goals is what drives him to work hard every day for others.
His work is driven by a simple motivation: helping people become stronger, more capable versions of themselves. He is deeply passionate about strength training not just for the physical results, but for the confidence, resilience, and self-belief it builds along the way. Will enjoys helping others break through mental barriers, and realize that strength carries far beyond the gym. For him, training is a tool for empowerment, and helping people tap into that strength is what fuels everything he does.
