MaxWay provides individualized training programs with proven systems and implementation to ensure our clients learn safely and effectively. With a small group personal training format, we keep a small ratio of 5:1 to ensure that each client receives the coaching attention they deserve. Starting with a movement assessment and goal setting session, we then write programs individually for each client with their goals, history, and abilities in mind. With youth, adult, and family memberships, MaxWay has all the options you need to keep your entire family fit and active!

Adult Small Group Training

Introductory platform for our youngest up-and-coming athletes.

Our @yalewcrew squad had a weekend at the Canadian Henley!!
@emmeline13 won the U23 class and came in 4th in the Open Division!!
@k8.edwards and @sophiecraver locked down a 3rd in the 2x and @hannahjohns13 pulled down a 5th in the senior 500m.
These girls have been working so hard this summer on the water with @greatbayrowing and in the gym at MaxWay!

Well the day has come to say goodbye to Intern Nick ☹️
It seemed like @van_der_merwe45 never really left MaxWay this summer. We are super grateful for all the hard work you put in, but we started your modeling career, so who knows what’s next!?

One of the nicer parts of having your youth athlete working with a coach is that often times we are saying the same thing as you parents; but we aren't the parents, so they tend to listen to the "boring stuff" such as:
Eating fruits and veggies 🍏🥕
Getting to bed at a reasonable time and getting enough sleep 😴🛌
Drinking enough water 🚰

What does this work, Wednesdays‼️⁉️
𝟭 𝗟𝗲𝗴 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁
🟡 single leg strength (if you're stronger on 1, you'll be stronger on 2)
🟡 greater stability demands than a 2 legged squat
🟡 great to help with injury reduction
🟡 less external load needed to be challenging
🟡 can be modified to any ability level easily
Some of people like to come into the gym and just put their head down and follow their program without much question... buttttt we like to try and educate on why we're doing certain things, and what the point of the work actually is!

She came one weekend over in the beginning summer all the way up from NYC and absolutely knocked the project out of the park!!
We are so happy with how it came out and can't image the space without it now.

‼️June Members of the Month‼️
We are a little late with this one, but that’s because Luc was away on vacation 😂
This month we have two long time MaxWay fixtures…John and Luc!
John won because of his mustache…
Just kidding! But that mustache is phenomenal!
John has been a member for a while now and never misses his workouts. You can count on John 3 days a week at 9am unless he’s gone on one of his numerous vacations. He’s moving better, feeling better, and his quality of life has gone up. All wins and all due to his hard work and consistency.
Luc is very similar to John and never misses his training. Luc came to MaxWay with the goal of improving his golf game, and he certainly has. He’s added over 20 yards of carry to his drives, club head speed is up almost 10mph and is crushing golf balls!
Congrats to John and Luc!!!
There is no better way to start you week off then with an amazing workout…and that’s exactly what many of our members did this morning, crushing their workouts and starting the week off strong 💪
Life can be cruel, challenging, unfair and confusing, to say the least.. having people and a place to go where you can be who you are is supremely important.
MaxWay strives to be that place and those people for young people, and not so young people as we navigate this crazy world.

All 3 are long overdue with Meg being one of the longest tenured members at MaxWay and actually being part of the family before maxway was even opened!! even if she’s never exactly on time for her sessions..
There aren’t many pairs of gym buddies likes Charlie and Mikey, that’s for sure. Both have been dedicated towards their goals, working hard, and always being helpful when they’re asked to help out.
